Our Holiday Plans for 2017

holiday plans

A few weeks ago I posted our 2017 bucket list which was full of things that we want to do this year. Our list included jobs around the house but also lots of travel plans. We have since booked a couple of holidays so I thought I would share with you what we have planned.

North Wales

In March we are going to North Wales for four nights with my husband’s family. We’ve never been to Wales before so I’m really excited to visit. We are staying at a beautiful house in Dolgarrog, which is close to Snowdonia. I can’t wait to see what North Wales has to offer!

Bluestone Wales

I am super excited to be a Bluestone blogger in May, I have heard such great things about it and cannot wait to experience it for myself. It’s crazy that we’ve never been to Wales and then we go twice within the space of a couple of months! Although the Bluestone resort is in Pembrokeshire in South Wales so nowhere near where we are staying in March.

Hastings

In the first week of the summer holidays we’re heading down south to stay in Hastings. I mentioned this in my 2017 bucket list, We love exploring the UK and so we really can’t wait for this. We are planning to visit a few places while we’re down there such as Brighton, Margate etc. Places that we are unable to day trip to from where we live in South Yorkshire.

Disneyland Paris

Yaaaay! Last week we took the plunge and booked Disneyland Paris for November and I am sooo incredibly excited. We are staying at Sequoia Lodge for four nights, but shhh it’s a secret as the kids don’t know yet. I’m not sure how or when we will tell them but I want it to be special, if you have any suggestion then please let me know.

So far that’s what we have booked. We would also like a night or two away for my 30th birthday in August and we’re still clinging on to the hope of a sunny abroad holiday at some point, but we’ll have to see how we are doing money wise.

What are your holiday plans for this year? I would love to know.

Thanks for reading

I’ve never been to Wales, it is on my visit at some point list though. Yay to Euro Disney, I haven’t been there since I was 16 but it was amazing then 🙂
