Our plan was to head out on Sunday to get these photos, I had it all planned out but unfortunately the weather was not on our side so we had no choice but to take these photos indoors. Everyone else seems to have had a pretty sprinkling of snow but all we’ve had here is wet slushy mess!
These might not be the best quality photos, and I’m blaming that on the awful lighting at the moment (roll on spring!). But they capture how lovely these two can be with each other really well. Max had decided he was going to read to Evie, so she chose a book and they snuggled on her bed and read the story together. Evie’s room has just been redecorated so these two are loving spending time playing in there.
One of my favourite moments between these two this month was when Max’s tooth came out. Max went straight to tell Evie before he even told us! It was such a big milestone and it was great that they were able to share it.
We’re looking forward to half term next week and Max and Evie are excited to spend some time together. Evie seems to have grown up so much recently, she’s definitely no longer a toddler but a proper little girl which means that the age gap between these two doesn’t seem so big anymore and they have much more in common. They can plan with Lego together, without Evie trashing it or sit and read a book together like this, without Evie getting bored after two minutes.
So here are February’s dull and grainy photos, but special never the less. Here’s to hoping for some better weather and lovely outdoor shots for March.
