A WEEK OF OUTFITS

week outfits

I’ve seen a lot of these videos doing the rounds on YouTube recently so I decided to do my own, as I really enjoy watching them.

This was a very ordinary week for me – school runs, getting things done around the house, work, walking the dog etc. So these outfits might not be particularly exciting, but I hope that it’s interesting anyway. Of course, with it being January and really cold out you’ll see a lot of jeans, jumpers, boots, coats and hats in this post because we have to keep as cosy as possible, right?

Please excuse the dog in the background of pretty much every single one of these photos. Oh, and the dog toys, it’s an ongoing battle at the moment, I put them away, she get’s them back out. So I gave up trying in the end!

You can watch my video below or scroll down to see outfit photos from each day of the week…

Monday

A typical winter school run outfit here, jeans, jumper and a bobble hat! My jeans are the Topshop Joni jeans which are my favourite ever jeans, they are so stretchy and comfortable. If you’re looking for a new pair of skinny jeans then give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Tuesday

Tuesday was all about the chunky pink cardigan. I got this one from River Island a couple of months ago and isn’t it just dreamy? It is honestly the cosiest thing I have ever worn, perfect for dreary January days. It actually went out of stock but is currently back in stock, yay!

Wednesday

I haven’t worn this skirt in ages so I decided to dig it out. I kept it really simple with a black ribbed top, black tights and then my black converse. When I went out, I wore my trusty grey coat again which is getting plenty of wear at the moment. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s available anymore as it was a sale purchase back in November. But there are lots of very similar ones around.

Thursday

I get asked a lot where this jumper is from and it was bought from Next back in November, which means unfortunately it has now sold out. I’ve really enjoyed wearing it this winter, I love the colours, the high neck and the wide sleeves.

My jeans are the River Island Molly jeans, like the black ones I wore earlier on in the week. They are great jeans, very comfortable but the Topshop Joni jeans will always be my favourites.

Friday

I used to wear dresses all the time in autumn and winter but these days I find myself just grabbing jeans and jumpers when it’s cold. I’m trying to break out of that habit a little and you’ll see that this week I have worn a few dresses and skirts. This dress is from Warehouse and I really like the colours in it. I’m also wearing my oxblood boots, which are a welcome change to black.

Saturday

This leather skirt has to be the most worn item in my wardrobe, I just love it. I often struggle to find skirts that look and fit right on me as I have quite wide hips, but this one is perfect. I like to dress it down like I did here with trainers but it’s also great for nights out too.

Sunday

I received an order from LOTD.com last week, you can see what else I received here. But this dress is one of my favourite items, it’s so soft and I love the red, which I think is a colour that is definitely lacking from my winter wardrobe.

It’s another one of those outfits that can easily be worn casually or dressed up with a pair of heels. I wore it here with my Converse for a more relaxed day time look.
