I am a huge lover of leopard print. Leopard print boots, coats, jumpers, bags. You name it, I probably have it in my wardrobe. I know that sometimes it can look a little tacky but I think if it’s done right, animal print is super stylish.
I bought this beauty of a skirt a couple of weeks ago and thought I would set myself a little challenge to style it in two different ways. I have definitely become more confident with fashion in recent months and I’m enjoying settling myself little challenges like this.
Here is the first look, which is more of a evening/going out look…
Here I styled the skirt with a simple ribbed high neck top, my Ted Baker robot bag, new (and amazing!) Primark boots and a long black cardigan. I really like the length of the cardigan and think it gives the outfit a very chic feel.
For the second look I went for something a little more casual, something that I would be comfortable wearing on an average day (which of course had to involve my trusty black Converse!).
Here I wore the same ribbed high neck top as I did in the first look. But this time I added my River Island faux leather jacket and black converse for a more casual and relaxed look.
I thoroughly enjoyed styling this skirt and think it might just be my favourite outfit post that I’ve done. It wasn’t cheap but it’s by Levi’s so the quality is really good, as you would expect. I know that I will wear this year in, year out. Because let’s be honest leopard print never goes out of style, does it?
What do you think to this skirt? Do you prefer the first or second look?
Thank you for reading.
