The kids were kindly sent a pair of Bobux boots each recently and we’ve been really impressed with them, so I thought I would share our thoughts on them.
The company was started in New Zealand back in 1991 by Chris and Colleen Bennett. Bobux create shoes that are not only stylish but good for our children’s feet too.
Flash forward to present day Bobux and you’ll see a company constantly striving to learn more about healthy foot development and leveraging this knowledge to design kids shoes that are genuine objects of desire for mums.
I love my kids in Converse but they are a bit of a pain to get on and off. The kids can’t do it for themselves which is annoying, especially when you’re in a rush to get somewhere. So I love that these Bobox boots are really easy for the kids to put on by themselves, with just just a zip fastening for them to tackle.
I picked out the Outback boots for Max, in the colour toffee. I originally wanted the espresso colour, which is a darker brown but it was sold out in his size, but actually I’m glad we went for toffee now as it’s such a gorgeous shade of brown.
I also went for the Outback boots for Evie as I really love the style, I went for gold for her just for something a little bit different. The Outback boots are a Bobox classic and one of their most popular styles, and I can definitely see why! They are leather outer and also have a cream leather lining.
Built on their custom i-Walk design, the boots feature a flexible sole so are in line with foot health best practice for the Toddler and Preschooler stage. Bobox say that the right size shoe is the most important thing that you can do for you children’s feet, so they even have an expert fitting tool on their website, which I found really helpful.
I really love how soft the material is and also how flexible the soles are, making them super comfortable for the kids. Both of my children are pretty fussy when it comes to new shoes, especially when they are brand new and still a bit stiff. They always moan about them being uncomfortable and it takes them a while to wear them in. But I can honestly say that there has been absolutely no whinging with their new Bobox boots.
Overall we’ve been really impressed with the Bobox boots and I would definitely recommend them to anyone with toddlers and preschoolers. They have a wide range of designs available from newborn age right up to a junior size 11, so there’s something for everyone.
The Outback boots are priced at £45.00.
What do you think to Bobox boots?
