Evie has been at school for a grant total of 10 weeks and already her school shoes are so scuffed that they look like she’s had them for years! With winter approaching I decided that now would be a good time to get her a nice pair of boots for school. Her one request was for them to be shiny, so as you can imagine she is pleased as punch with this Bobux pair!
We’ve been lucky enough to review Bobox shoes a few times in the past and we’ve always been really impressed with them. I love the styles and the kids have always found them to be super comfortable.
If you aren’t familiar with Bobux, they are a New Zealand brand which was started back in 1991 by Chris and Colleen Bennett. Bobux create shoes that are not only stylish but good for our children’s feet too. Bobux are a company constantly striving to learn more about healthy foot development and using this knowledge to design kids shoes that are genuine objects of desire for mums.
The ones that we picked out are the Gloss boots in the colour midnight. They are also available in plum, charcoal and mocha which are all gorgeous colours but of course with these being for school we had to go for the midnight colourway.
I really like the high gloss leather finish which Bobux say wears really well. These will definitely be worn outside of school too, they are just too pretty not to!
The Gloss boot would be a striking addition to your little one’s winter wardrobe. The upper is made out of a hi-gloss leather- which wears unbelievably well. The subtle brogue detailing, and elastic paneling add the finishing touch to this classy style. These look awesome with a pair of metallic tights or a fun pair of leggings.
They have a zipper fastening as well as an elasticated panel making them easy for Evie to put on by herself on those busy school mornings!
These boots only arrived yesterday and Evie insisted on wearing them to school today. She’s just come home saying that they were really comfortable and haven’t hurt her feet at all. I often find that new shoes take a couple of days to break in and can be a little uncomfortable for them to start with, so it’s great that there has been none of that with these boots.
The Gloss boots are the I-Walk style which are available in sizes 22 – 26. If your little one is a bigger size, Bobux also do the very similar Shimmer style in sizes 27 – 33.

What do you think to Evie’s new boots? Have you tried Bobux shoes before?
Thank you for reading.
*We were kindly sent these boots to review, however as always all opinions are my own*
