What I wore | Boden Spots & Faux Leather Skirt

Today I’m sharing my current favourite outfit, a gorgeous gold spotty jumper with a black faux leather skirt, something that is quite brave for me!

The jumper is from Boden and is sooo comfy. I love the gold spots, there is something quite festive about it. I like that this jumper can easily be dressed either up or down. I’ve been wearing it casually with jeans and boots and also dressing it up like this with my faux leather skirt and tights.

I’ve wanted a faux leather skirt for such a long time but I’m not very adventurous when it comes to fashion and wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. I also worried that maybe I’m too old to be wearing something like this?! What do you think? Does it look OK?

The skirt is from Next and is really comfortable to wear and a complete bargain at just £22. One of my favourite things about it is that it has pockets, and I do love anything with pockets! I also think that the shape is really flattering, I have very wide hips and a big bum and I think this skirt hides that quite well. Next also do this in a metallic version which I’ve seen a few people wearing on Instagram so I’m considering buying that one as well!

I think the two pieces work really well together, it’s a great Christmas outfit and a strong contender for my Christmas Day outfit!

So what do you think to this outfit? Yes or no to the faux leather skirt? Would you wear it?

Thanks for reading.
