It’s now been 11 days since my last weight loss update as I decided to change the day that I weigh myself from a Monday to a Friday. I am pleased to say I have lost weight! Which is great after last week’s gain.

ON THE SCALES
So last time I weighed in at 11st 8lb 10oz. Today my weight is 11st 4lb 4oz, so I have lost 4lb 6oz!
I’m super happy with this result and it’s really given me the motivation I needed to keep going! I’m not expecting as bigger loss next week, but as long as I’m heading in the right direction that’s all that matters.
We were on holiday in Wales for a few days last week so I expected my diet to suffer, but when I got back I did weigh myself and found that I had actually lost a little bit of weight. I put that down to the fact that I wasn’t snacking and was only eating three normal meals a day, and no takeaways.
In the week since we got back from Wales I have been trying really hard to kick start the weight loss and haven’t once snacked or binged, and I feel like I have really turned a corner with this. I have been sticking to three healthy (ish) meals a day and no food in an evening. It’s been working well and I don’t feel at all like I’ve been depriving myself.
While we were in Wales we were out and about every day so although I didn’t realise I was getting much exercise, I was being more active than I usually am when I’m at home.
Since we’ve been back, I have been either walking or using the exercise bike every day, sometimes both. It’s not a great deal of exercise but it’s much more than I was doing before and I’m hoping that I can slowly build this up.
My plan for next week is to pretty much do exactly what I’ve been doing this week, as it seems to be working for me. The only obstacles are going to be Max’s birthday tomorrow, which is going to involve a lot of tempting unhealthy food! And James is off work now for a few days and I always struggle when he’s around. Eating just seems to be what we do together, so I need to work on that!
