First of all, apologies for this post being a day late. I did weigh myself yesterday as planned but just didn’t get this post finished off in time!
The first half of this week was pretty bad, what with birthdays and Mother’s Day I’ve eaten a chinese takeaway, party food, birthday cake, cheesecake, drank wine, prosecco and done pretty much no excerise. So the second half of this week has been all about damage limitation!

ON THE SCALES
So last time I weighed in at 11st 4lb 4oz. I am now 11st 4lb 8oz, so I have gained 4oz! Which I suppose is negligible really. My total weight loss now stands at 4lb 2oz (going by my heaviest weight of 11st 8lb 10oz).
Considering the bad start to the week, I don’t think this is too bad but I really do need to start trying harder!
Like I said, the start of the week was baaad and I had far too many treats but I pulled it back in the latter part of the week and cut out the snacking again. I think it’s important to have a balance though, it’s OK to have those treats as long as you are going to follow the bad days with good ones.
The first half of the week I did pretty much zero exercise but over the past few days I’ve been out for walks a couple of times and been on the bike twice. I’ve increased my time on the exercise bike from 15 to 20 minutes and will gradually keep increasing this over time.
My plan for next week is to be good! Basically, do what I’ve been doing on the good days and not have half a week of cheat days!
