Evie’s bedroom is finally complete, yay! I am so happy with how it’s turned out, it’s bright and colourful and everything I had imagined it to be. It’s a proper big girl room now and Evie is so pleased with it.
We started redecorating the room back in December and decided to do it in two stages. Part one was painting the walls and adding a few new accessories. Part two have been about changing her furniture and it’s made a massive difference to the room.
Evie’s room is a small box room so we’ve had to try and make the most of the space we’ve got. She used to have a chest of drawers which we have now replaced with a larger wardrobe, this has given her more floor space to play.
She previously had a cot bed which we’ve replaced with a single bed. The new bed wouldn’t fit where her old bed had been so we’ve had to move it to under the window instead (the window is locked so there’s no concerns over her climbing out!), and I think this has made a such big difference to the room.
As well as new furniture we’ve also added a few new accessories to the room; prints for the wall, ice cream shelf, crochet blanket, new cushions and a bed side table.

I have linked everything that is still available to buy. Unfortunately a couple of things have now sold out so I haven’t been able to leave a link for those, but I’ve found alternatives where possible.
