We have just got back from the most amazing week in the sunshine in Fuerteventura. This was our first time in Fuerteventura, in fact it was our first visit to the Canary Islands. We chose it because of the weather at this time of year and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Although we found that the island is very windy, it’s also super sunny and actually the breeze is very much needed. If you’re considering an April holiday, I would highly recommend Fuerteventura for the weather.
These photos are from our first three days on the island where we spent time at our hotel, explored the town of Corralejo and it’s stunning sand dunes, as well as a day at Oasis Park which is an amazing animal park in the south of Fuerteventura.
As I said the sand dunes at Corralejo are absolutely beautiful, I honestly hadn’t expected much before we went but my goodness, I am so glad that we went. The beach there is also stunning, with it’s white sands and beautiful blue sea. I managed to get some pretty decent photos while we were there and I am really pleased that I decided to take my 50mm lens with me as without it, I don’t think these photos would have turned out anywhere near as good.
I think Oasis Park might have been the kids favourite thing that we did on holiday, it really was a brilliant place. I plan to do a proper review of the park as I managed to get lots of photos on the day and there is so much to say about it. We even got to ride camels there which was a great experience and the kids loved it.
I’m not going to write anymore about the holiday in this post as I just want this to be about the photos and I will be writing a proper review of the hotel and holiday very soon.
Thank you for reading.
