Calling all cycling fans in Sheffield! This weekend British Cycling are holding a free cycling pop-up event here in Sheffield and it’s open to everyone.
As a family we love cycling, my husband is really into cycling and my daughter Evie absolutely loves her little bike, which of course is pink and purple and complete with dolls seat on the back! So we were really excited when we heard about this free pop-up cycling event.
Whether you’re new to cycling or are more experienced, you ride for fun or fitness, this free taster event will give you the chance to ride a traffic-free cycle circuit as many times as you want, at a pace that suits you.
The event is open to all ages and abilities and the circuit is easy to ride, so it’s perfect for families with little ones in tow. There will also be volunteers on hand throughout, ensuring that everyone stays safe and enjoys the event.
The event runs from 10am to 12pm on Sunday 17th September and starts from Holgate Avenue, Parson Cross. Here’s the route…
A limited number of adult and children’s bikes will be available to hire free of charge on a first come first served basis from the venue with I.D.
Local Ride Leaders and Breeze Champions will be there on the day to tell you more about other cycling opportunities in Sheffield with HSBC UK Guided Rides and HSBC UK Breeze.
