If you’ve followed my blog for a while you’ll know I love writing bucket lists and making plans. My last bucket list was our 2017 bucket list, so please do head over and check that out if you haven’t already.
As it’s my 30th birthday in August me and my husband are thinking about a city break, just the two of us. So I’ve been having a look around and have put together a list of places that I would love to visit.
I love city breaks, there is just so much to see and do. I’m not really one for sitting still for very long so city breaks are right up my street. What’s great is that every city is completely unique and offers something different.
Amsterdam isn’t somewhere that had ever appealed to me until very recently. But I watched a programme about it a few weeks ago and it looks like such a beautiful city, with so much to do. So I’ve found myself dreaming of visiting ever since.
Me and James went to New York back in 2009, before we had the kids and I’ve wanted to go back ever since. We were there for five days, but still didn’t manage to do everything that we wanted to. It’s an amazing city with so much to do, I can’t wait to go back one day and experience it all again.
We have actually been to Disneyland Paris a couple of times and on one of those occasions we spent a few hours in Paris itself, just before we flew home. But it was no where near long enough and we only really got to see Notre Dame. There is so much more of Paris that I would like to see.
Las Vegas is somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit. It just looks like such a fun place to be. The nightlife, the shopping, the food and of course the Grand Canyon, it all looks amazing.
Prague and Amsterdam are often compared and while there are some similarities, the two cities are actually very different. What appeals to me the most about Prague is the history and the architecture, the Old Town in particular looks stunning.
Have you been to any of these destinations? Would you recommend?
Thanks for reading.
