Little Book of Lykke

January is a bit of a grey and miserable month for most of us isn’t it? Nobody has any money, the weather is rubbish and we’re all a bit sad that Christmas is over. In an attempt to make January a little bit brighter for a few lucky winners I’m going to be running a few giveaways this month.

To kick things off, I’m giving away a copy of Meik Wiking’s The Little Book of Lykke. This is a book that I have read myself and thoroughly enjoyed, so I hope that whoever wins this will enjoy to just as much.

The book, from the author of The Little Book of Hygge, is all about lykke, the Danish word for happiness and why Denmark is often called the world’s happiest country.

So nobody knows more about happiness – what the Danes call lykke – than Meik Wiking, CEO of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen and author of the bestselling sensation The Little Book of Hygge. But he believes that, while we can certainly learn a lot from the Danes about finding fulfilment, the keys to happiness are actually buried all around the globe.

In this captivating book, he takes us on a treasure hunt to unlock the doors to the good life. From how we spend our precious time, to how we relate to ur neighbours and cook dinner, he gathers evidence, stories and tips from the very happiest corners of the planet. This is the ultimate guide to how we can all find a little more lykke in our lives.

Don’t forget to check out my other reviews and giveaways here. There’s a few more coming this month, so make sure you check back.

To be in with a chance of winning a copy of The Little Book of Lykke (worth £9.99) simply enter via the rafflecopter widget below. UK entrants only please. The giveaway will close at midnight on Sunday 28th January. The winner will then be contacted via email. Please respond within 30 days or a new winner will be drawn.

Thanks for the opportunity to win this but please don’t assume everyone is sad in January. This month is my birthday and it always makes me happy. In fact this year I will be 65 and my family are taking me to see Wicked then to dinner. I even got the weekend off work, double celebration
