At the weekend we were invited by Britmums and Prezzo to visit our local restaurant and try out the new La Famiglia pasta sharing bowl. I am a big fan of Italian food and pasta in particular so I was excited to give the new dish a try!
The Prezzo restaurant chain has more than 280 restaurants across the UK in shapes and sizes ranging from old libraries to harbourside eateries taking in the view. Our local restaurant is located on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield, but we do also have one at Valley Centertainment. Despite having two restaurants close by, this was our first visit to Prezzo so we were keen to check it out.
When we arrived at the restaurant the kids were given menus, which they could also colour in and complete different activities. This was great as it kept them occupied while we ordered and waited for our food.
Our challenge was to try out the new La Famiglia pasta sharing bowl, which is perfect for families and can feed up to four people. We went for the Penne Alla Rusticate but you can also choose from Penne Arrabiata, Spaghetti Bolognese or Spaghetti Carbonara. Max isn’t a fan of pasta so he opted for a kids pizza instead and me, James and Evie shared the La Famiglia bowl.
We also shared two large garlic breads and had ice cream each for dessert, it was such a big feast that we struggled to finish it all!
We had a great time at Prezzo and it was really nice to sit round the table and share a meal as a family. What I also love about the La Famiglia sharing bowl is that it cuts out the stress of choosing from the menu, it makes restaurant dining super simple and at just £18.90 (that’s just £4.73 each, split between four people!) you really can’t go wrong.
Thanks for reading.
