I’ve been thinking about having a bit of a blog refresh in the near future, maybe in the new year. New year, new blog look and all that. I’m thinking new theme and new header. So when Logojoy gave me the opportunity to try out their website to design my own logo I couldn’t wait to get started.
Logojoy is a website which allows you to create your very own logo, to your exact requirements. You start by entering your company or blog name and then browsing different logos, selecting the ones that you like the style of. Next, you pick colour palettes that you like, add a slogan (optional) and finally any icons that you want to be incorporated into your design.
Logojoy will then very cleverly generate a bunch of logos based on your preferences…
When you are browsing your generated logos and you find one you like the look of, you can click the little heart in the top corner to add it to your favourites.
You can then play around with your favourite logos by changing the colours, font styles, font sizing, spacing etc. I did this with a few different logos before I settled on my favourite one.
For a basic low resolution logo the price is $20 (about £15). I went for the premium package which includes the following for $65 (approx £50)…
- High resolution logo
- Vector EPS and SVG files
- Transparent background
- Black/white versions
- Lifetime phone support
- Font names and colors
- Full copyright ownership
- Make changes and re-download
- Print ready
- Brand guidelines
There is also the enterprise option which is perfect for bigger businesses and is priced at $165 (approx £125). The enterprise package includes all of the above with the addition of one hour design time and a social media kit.
My finished logo is simple, yet bright and colourful, exactly what I had in mind. I decided to have the text, background and camera icon in different colours as it just made the logo seem a little more fun and interesting. Here is my finished design…
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process of designing my new logo with Logojoy. The website is really simple to use and I like that there are lots of different options, allowing you to make something that is perfect for you. Price wise, maybe it is a little on the high side but remember that you are getting something that is to your exact requirements. I absolutely love my current blog header and it only cost me around £20. However, it was bought from Etsy and isn’t a custom design which means that there will probably be other bloggers and businesses out there with the same logo. With Logojoy you know that your logo is 100% unique.
