If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I absolutely love pyjamas! There’s nothing better than snuggling up on a winters evening in a new set of pyjamas. So I was more than happy to oblige when British Boxers got in touch to see if I would like to review a set of their premium pyjamas.
Let me tell you a little bit more about the company and their products…
British Boxers is a Staffordshire based company, founded by Deborah Price. She named the business after her great, great, great grandfather, first World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Jem Mace. Creating classic underwear and loungewear pieces using quality fabrics, that stands the test of time. British Boxers has gone on to supply the likes of Harrods, Joules and John Lewis.

Our products are built to last and are made with an emphasis on slow fashion that’s better for everyone involved. We use incredibly crisp two-fold cottons which are cool against the skin in summer, and exceptionally soft and cosy two-fold brushed cottons for autumn and winter.”
On the British Boxers website you’ll find a wide range of products including underwear, socks, pyjamas, hoodies, slippers and more. Lots of choice for Christmas gifting! Their pyjamas are available in bamboo, cotton and brushed cotton which is perfect for this time of year.
There’s lots of gorgeous designs to choose from, it was tough to decide but in the end I opted for the brushed cotton pyjama set in red shire square. I thought this colour and design was very festive and just perfect for this time of year.
When the pyjamas arrived I was impressed with the packaging and quality of the pyjamas straight away. They are super soft and beautifully made. I went for a size large, I’m usually a size 12 and these fit me exactly how I want them too – just the perfect slightly oversized fit.
The pyjamas are 100% brushed cotton and available in sizes petite – xxl. They are machine washable at 40 degrees. I have washed mine and can confirm that they wash very well and do not shrink at all.
The fibres in the cloth are dyed to British Boxers own colour specification, then brushed repeatedly, making them super soft and comfortable against the skin. The set features a rounded-collar top with breast pocket and tie-waist trousers with side pockets. I don’t know about you but a pet peeve of mine is pyjamas bottoms that don’t have pockets!
I am over the moon with my pyjamas from British Boxers and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to invest in premium quality sleepwear. It is clear to see that this is a company that puts a lot of care into creating high quality products that will last for years to come. I will definitely be back to purchase more pyjamas in the near future.
