During May half term we held our third Sheffield Mums Meet Up, this time at Mayfield Alpaca Farm. It turned out to be quite a nice day weather wise so it was good to be able to get outside and let the kids run around.
Mayfield Alpaca Farm is located in Ringinglow Village and has lots of different animals as well as alpacas, including rabbits, guinea pigs, meerkats, pigs, mongoose, rhea and even snakes and spiders! The kids loved it. There is also a cafe there which is where we met before going around the farm. It worked perfectly and I think a similar sort of venue would be good for summer meet ups.
On the subject of summer meet ups I have added a poll to our Facebook group if you’d like to head over and vote. I’m hoping to arrange two meet ups during the summer school holidays, one around the beginning and one towards the end, so any venue suggestions would be appreciated. You can either leave me a comment here or head over to the Facebook group. I will of course write a blog post confirming date and venue details when it’s all been arranged.
A big thank you to everyone that came along to this meet up, it was lovely to see you all again! I always get the fear that I’ll just be sat there on my own and nobody will turn up, haha. But thankfully the group seems to be growing more each time.
I hope to see you all again next time, and maybe some new faces too.
Thank you for reading.
