With Father’s day just around the corner (I know, how on earth did that creep up on us so quickly?!), I thought now would be a good time to share with you a few gift ideas. I don’t know about you but I find dads really difficult to buy for, actually men in general aren’t easy to buy for! They seem to have everything they could possibly want or need and when you ask them they usually just respond with “oh don’t bother getting me anything”, which couldn’t be any less helpful could it?
I hope that these ideas help some of you out this Father’s Day…
A plant subscription
Plant subscriptions are growing in popularity just now and it’s something I can definitely get onboard with! Whether it’s plants for the garden, seeds or house plants, there’s lots of different subscription options available. I really like that it’s something just that little bit different.
For the golfer
Is your dad or husband into golf? Why not kit them out with some new golfing gear this Father’s Day? Function18 sell a great range of designer golf wear including golf trousers, shirts, shorts, base layers and footwear. They are a one stop shop for golf clothing and definitely worth checking out for golf fans.
If there really isn’t anything that your dad or husband would like for Father’s Day, chocolate is an option that is never going to disappoint. Whether it’s a box of their favourite chocolates, a personalised chocolate medal or a chocolate subscription, it can be as unique or as simple as you want it to be.
Gin, beer, whiskey, alcohol subscription boxes are huge right now and make a perfect gift for Father’s Day. Generally there are a few different subscription options available and you have the option to cancel at any time, so this is a gift idea that can suit any budget.
Personalised items are always a big hit for Father’s Day. Whether it’s a personalised mug, keyring, cuff links or even a phone case, the possibilities are endless. Personalised keepsakes are not only really special and unique to the recipient but they can be used time and time again and never fail to bring a smile.
For the dad who has everything…
So what do you buy for the dad who has everything? The answer is, you keep it simple and book a family meal at his favourite restaurant. Spending time together with loved ones truly is the best gift.
For the gadget lover
And finally for the dad who loves tech, how about a portable power bank? These can even be personalised with a cute message. Or, if he doesn’t already have an Amazon Echo this could be a good option, or how about a FitBit watch?
Have you already bought your Father’s Day gifts? If so, I would love to know what you got. Leave me a comment and let me know.
Thank you for reading.
