The Me and Mine Project | June

June

It’s time for my favourite post of the month again, the me and mine project! Although I have no idea how we are half way through the year already. And the weather at the moment makes it feel more like autumn, definitely not summer!

It’s not always easy capturing photos of us all as a family but it’s so worth it as they are my absolute favourites to look back on.┬áThis month’s photos were just taken in our garden and I think there’s only two where we are all looking in the same direction…

And then the dog joined in…

And here’s a few funny outtakes, just look at the kids faces!

Clearly my children do not like having their photo taken!

June has been quite a busy month for us, we started it in Butlins Skegness and we’re ending it with a weekend away, which we are so looking forward to and it is very much needed! This month has also seen the start of Evie’s transition to school, eek! She now knows who her teacher will be and who will be in her class with her, and we’ve even started buying her uniform. Not only will her starting school be a huge deal for her, but a also a big change to our family life as we adjust to having two school age kids and our lives revolving around term time.

I am so excited for July for hopefully some nice weather (fingers crossed!), the kids finishing school for summer, less rushing around and for our next family holiday. This next holiday is our ‘proper’ summer holiday, the one we’ve been planning for months and we are all really excited for it. I’m just hoping the weather is on our side because the rain we’ve had over the past week has been pretty gross.

How has June been for you? Are you excited for July and the summer holidays?

Thanks for reading.

Lovely photos and I love that the dog got involved too. I can’t wait for the summer holidays, it’s going to be hectic, but I can’t wait for no routine and school run x #meandmine

Love these photos Emma – what’s a family photo without a dog in it too? I’m so looking forward to the summer starting properly – it keeps kind of kickstarting and then fizzling out!

It’s so hard sometimes getting everyone to co-operate isn’t it? Although I often think these ones show the personalities that make us smile too!
