With August bank holiday fast approaching I thought I would share a couple of outfits with you that would be perfect for a sunny weekend. And I’m not trying to tease you when I say sunny weekend, I’ve checked the weather forecast and it looks like it’s going to be a gorgeous weekend, yay! But even if the sun doesn’t come out to play both of these outfits would be suitable whatever the weather.
This first outfit is one of those that would work for lots of different occasions. Drinks with friends in a beer garden, a shopping trip or maybe a day out with family. This pink denim jacket I have worn none stop since it arrived, I absolutely love it and think it works really well with this particular outfit.
Pink denim jacket – £19.99
I’ve dressed these fabulous leopard print culotte trousers down here for a more casual look but they could easily be dress up with heels for an evening out. I just love how versatile they are. I’ve tucked in a simple white vest top here that came in a two pack. It’s super soft and really nice quality fabric.
My shoes are the Puma Cilia chunky trainers. This is a style of trainer that I’ve been unsure about but I decided to go for it after seeing lots of people wearing them on Instagram. I am so glad I bought them now as I love how they look and they are without a doubt the comfiest trainers I have ever owned.
Puma Cilia chunky trainers – £44.99
This second outfit just screams summer and would be perfect for a family BBQ this bank holiday weekend. It’s such a pretty dress and I felt really confident wearing it. The floaty style is also great for hiding that post BBQ food baby!
Floral maxi dress – £12.99
This dress was an absolute bargain at just £12.99! The pom pom detail on the sleeves, frill hem and button front make it feel much more expensive than it was. The elasticated waist is also great as it adds shape to the dress and flatters the figure.
Straw circle bag – £14.99
I’ve styled this dress with my trusty circle straw bag which has been getting a lot of use over the past couple of months.
I also went for my gold slider sandals as they are so comfy and work really well with maxi dresses. Alternatively you could pair this dress with heels or even white trainers for a more casual look. The Puma Cilia trainers I mentioned earlier in this post would look really cool.
Buckle slider sandals – £3.99
What are your plans this bank holiday weekend?
