bobux aw18

If you have followed me for any length of time, you will know how much we love Bobux shoes. My children have been wearing them for a few years now and I can’t rave about them enough. Not only are they hard wearing and comfortable, but they are super stylish too. So we were excited to recieve a couple of pairs from this years autumn winter range.

About Bobux

Bobux are a New Zealand brand which was started back in 1991 by Chris and Colleen Bennett. Bobux create shoes that are not only stylish but good for our children’s feet too. Bobux are constantly striving to learn more about healthy foot development and using this knowledge to design kids shoes that are genuine objects of desire for mums.

Bobux shoes range from newborn all the way up to a UK size 1. They are broken up into four different size categories – Soft Sole for newborn & prewalkers, Step Up for first walkers, I-Walk for toddlers and Kid + for bigger kids, which my two are in.

“While they’re beginning to look like smaller versions of adult feet, kids’ feet are still going through some crucial development – even when they reach school-age. So cramming them into shoes that aren’t made for their uniquely shaped feet, or that will fall to pieces once they graze concrete simply won’t cut it. Kid+ shoes are made from lightweight, ultra-durable textiles, breathable, flexible leather and boast high-flex soles. Built around a custom last that reflects the shape of their growing feet, Bobux Kid+ shoes are the best a kid can get.”

The new season range is full of gorgeous designs and colours. It’s always tricky to pick out just two pairs as there are so many lovely ones!

For Max I opted for the Timber boots in the colour airforce, which is a really striking blue colour. Last autumn Max had the Stomp boots which are very similar in design and he wore them pretty much everyday!

The Timber boots have elasticated laces and a velcro strap, so they are easy to take on and off. I love that this design is unisex and also available in black, plum, mustard and blush.

Timber boots – £52

For Evie I picked out the Shire boots in the colour caramel shimmer.

The Shire boot is 100% leather upper and lining. They have an elastic seam and zip closure so they are easy to slip on and off. I love the caramel shimmer colour which is neutral enough to go with any outfit but also adds a little bit of sparkle to a simple outfit.

Also available in silver shimmer, blush and navy.

Shire boots – £52

Thank you for reading.
