everyday autumn style

Don’t get me wrong, I love wearing dresses and skirts during autumn but when it comes to general everyday life, school runs, housework and running errands, you really can’t beat jeans and cosy jumper. I know I will often share the more put together outfits on here but I thought it was worth sharing this one too, which is a normal everyday outfit for me.

Whenever the weather starts to get colder, the first thing I bring out is my faux leather jacket. They are perfect for autumn because they aren’t too thick but they still keep you nice and warm. They go with absolutely everything too and I like that they make an outfit look like you’ve made a real effort, even when you haven’t.

As you can see from these photos, I am very much still clinging on to my straw bags. If you follow me on Instagram, you will have already seen that! I am, however, on the lookout for a black straw bag, I think that a darker colour will be better suited to the autumn and winter months ahead of us. What do you think about straw bags in autumn and winter?

Faux leather jacket – River Island

I wear a variety of jeans styles during the autumn months, my ASOS Farleigh mom jeans are one of my favourites but I also love skinny jeans. My favourite skinny jeans are my River Island Molly jeans and the Topshop Joni jeans, which I have worn and loved for years now.

The jumper that I’m wearing in these pictures is from Celtic & Co who sell an amazing range of women’s knitwear. This jumper is made from 100% lambswool and is incredibly soft. I really like the colourblock detail and the longer length, which means it would also work well with leggings.

Celtic & Co slouch jumper – £96

This jumper is one of Celtic & Co’s bestselling Geelong knits and I can totally see why. It’s relaxed and comfortable, yet luxurious. It also comes in eight other colours, so there’s plenty of choice available. I particularly like the vintage blue which is a gorgeous pale blue shade.

I couldn’t write this post and not mention by beloved Adidas Stan Smith trainers. I’ve had these for a few months now but didn’t get much wear out of them over summer as I was living in my Saltwater sandals and Birkenstocks. Now that the weather has changed I’ve been wearing these everyday and I just love them! They are so comfortable and go with everything. Obviously I’m wearing them with skinny jeans here but I have also worn them with dresses and midi skirts, which is a look that I’m really enjoying at the moment.

What is your go-to autumn style? I would love to know.

Thank you for reading.
