FESTIVAL FASHION | WHAT TO WEAR

Dressing for a UK festival isn’t always the easiest of tasks. Although they usually take place during summer, there is absolutely no guarantee that the sun will shine and the rain will stay away. So what do you wear when you can’t predict the weather, but you still want to look good? Read on for some festival fashion ideas…

1. Belt bag

Belt bags are ideal for festivals. You will need somewhere to put your money and phone but you definitely don’t want to have to carry anything around in your hands. Most festivals don’t allow bags bigger than A4 size so a small belt style bag is perfect.

2. Bodysuits

Bodysuits are great for festivals as there’s so many different designs and styles available. They are great for layering too, so you can adapt your outfit depending on the weather. Rebellious Fashion have a wide collection of bodysuits to suit everyone’s unique style.

3. Sunglasses

Hopefully the sun will shine while you’re at your festival, so you’ll definitely need your sunnies. Not only are they practical but they’ll also help hide those tired eyes from the lack of sleep and too much partying!

4. Denim shorts

Denim shorts are a festival staple. There are lots of different styles of denim shorts out there, so there will be a pair to suit your own personal style. It helps that they look cute and go with everything too! So you can throw them on without having to put too much thought into your outfit.

5. Waterproof jacket

A slightly boring, practical one here but we all know how unpredictable the British weather can be. It’s best to take a light waterproof jacket with you, just in case it’s cold or rainy. There’s some really cool and colourful ones out there, and you can easily tie it around your waist when it’s not needed.

6. Wellies

More likely than not, there will be mud at the festival you are attending, so wellies are an absolute must. Not only are they great for keeping your feet dry and mud free but they are comfortable too.

7. Hat

Bucket hats are still very much in fashion and look great at festivals. But if they aren’t your thing, why not try a straw hat or a fedora?

8. Dr Martens

I adore my Dr Martens. They have gotten so much wear in the couple of years that I’ve had them. If you don’t fancy wearing wellies to a festivals, Dr Martens are good alternative. They are great for mud and rain but are also really comfortable so you definitely won’t have sore feet at the end of the day.

9. Cycling shorts

Well I had to get cycling shorts in here somewhere, didn’t I? I love cycling shorts! I have worn them so much this summer. I love how they look with an oversized tee. Fashion forward, yet comfortable and easy to dress up or down depending on your style or the occasion.

10. Glitter!

Glitter is another must at any festival. Whether it’s glitter in your hair, on your face, or all over your body! There’s no such thing as too much glitter at a festival, am I right?

What are your must have fashion staples for a UK festival?
