Olive + Oscar

I’m always on the lookout for new children’s clothing brands to try, especially as my children grow and they learn what they do and don’t like to dress in. So when Olive + Oscar got in touch to see if they could send the children some clothes, I was really excited to see what they had to offer.

Olive + Oscar is a brand new children’s and babies clothing brand run by husband and wife team Nikki and Todd. The pair wanted to create a brand that would encourage little ones to express themselves in their own unique way. To bravely explore their creative imagination, to have some fun and of course look cool doing it!

We work hard & instill positive values in our business, much like we do with our kids.  We are friendly, passionate, honest & caring.  We always listen and have fun when designing and sourcing our garments.

When browsing the website, the first thing I noticed was the fun prints and modern designs. There’s lots of choice and the range is available from age three months to 14 years. The children helped me to pick out an outfit each as I think it’s important that they get involved in making these decisions.

The first thing that we picked out for Evie is this gorgeous mustard dress..

Mustard crochet dress – £14.99

I was drawn to the vibrant colour and the gorgeous crochet detail. It really is a stunning dress and will be perfect for our upcoming holiday to Italy.

To go with the dress we picked out these cross strap detail sandals. Evie was in desperate need of some new sandals and I loved the style of these. I have a tendancy to pick crazy coloured or patterned sandals which I later regret as they don’t match with any of her outfits. I liked that these are simple and will go with everything in her wardrobe.

Evie has worn these sandals at every available opportunity since they arrived and assures me they are very comfortable, which of course is super important when it comes to children’s footwear.

Keep it crossed black sandals – £14.99

Regular readers will know I love bright colours on my children, so as well as the gorgeous mustard dress for Evie I was drawn to these red shorts for Max. I think that red really suits him! What do you think?

The shorts are really great quality and I love the belt that they come with. These are also availabe in navy and beige which I’m very tempted to order too as I think they would get lots of wear over the summer months.

Red shorts – £14.99

To go with the red shorts, Max picked out a navy short sleeved shirt and I think together they make a great summer outfit. The linen cotton mix is lightweight so is perfect for warm summer days.

Collarless navy shirt – £12.99

I think the kids look fabulous in their new outfits, what do you think?

Thank you for reading.

*We were kindly gifted the items mentioned in this post, but as always all thoughts are 100% my own*
