Femme Luxe is a brand that I’ve heard a lot about and have seen lots of ladies on Instagram wearing their products, and they always look amazing. If I’m completely honest I wasn’t sure that it was my sort of style which is why I had decided not to work with them in the past. But last week I received another email from Femme Luxe and saw that they had some lovely loungewear sets in stock, of course given the current lockdown situation lots of us are living in our loungewear so I thought I’d give it a go and see what Femme Luxe products are really like.
Femme Luxe are an online retailer selling a range of women’s clothes including dresses, loungewear, jumpers, jeans, shoes, accessories and much more. Their clothing is very reasonably priced and they often have sales and discounts available across the site, which is always a bonus!
A lot of the women I have seen wearing Femme Luxe clothing have amazing figures and as someone who is a curvy size 12/14 I was interested to see what their clothes would look like on someone like me. Also, given the bargain prices I wanted to see for myself what the quality was like. Read on to see what I picked out and for my honest thoughts on the brand…
The first item I picked out is the grey frill waist loungewear set in a size M/L (12/14), which was the largest size that they had available. I absolutely love the top, the frill detail is super pretty and makes it just that little bit different to your usual loungewear set. Unfortunately there isn’t much stretch in the fabric so the bottoms just didn’t fit me. I do have quite wide hips and a big bum so maybe a size 12/14 was being optimistic but stretchy fabric definitely would have helped.
This set is also available in charcoal marl, beige marl, camel and blue (which is gorgeous!).

Next up is this loungewear tracksuit set in navy. I got this in a size L/XL (12/14) and it fits very well. I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of the quality but I was very pleasantly surprised at how soft the fabric is. I have worn and washed this set a couple of times so far and can’t fault it.
This set also comes in black, khaki, grey, wine and beige.

I also went for the same loungewear tracksuit set in the colour khaki. I decided to size up with this one, just because I wasn’t sure how Femme Luxe sizing would come up, and sometimes I want my loungewear to be nice and oversized. I got a size XL/XXL which is a 14/16 and I really like the fit of this. As I mentioned earlier these sets are really soft and comfortable so perfect for lounging at home. I like that you can wear them around the house or throw on a jacket and some trainers and wear it out too.
Khaki loungewear tracksuit set – £18.99
The final item that I picked out is this ‘Honey’ oversized t-shirt in black. This is also available in white with black print and there’s lots of other slogan prints available too, I particularly like the ‘ooh la la’ and ‘stay home’ t-shirts. I got this in a size XL (12/14) which does come up quite big which I like, and it is also long in length so could be worn over leggings.
‘Honey’ black oversized t-shirt – £8.99
Overall I am pleasantly surprised with Femme Luxe clothing. The quality is much better than I expected and the sizing seems to be consistent across the range. As I mentioned at the beginning of this post a lot of their clothing isn’t really my style so I can’t say I will become a regular Femme Luxe shopper, but I would definitely buy their loungewear and t-shirts again.
Have you ever shopped with Femme Luxe? What do you think to the items that I picked out? Leave me a comment and let me know.
Thank you for reading.
