As we step into autumn we’re met with that awkward weather that can be absolutely freezing in the morning but gloriously sunny by lunch time. Dressing for such changeable weather can be a challenge and layers are our best friend at this time of year. With this in mind, I’ve picked out some transitional piece from Studio that are perfect for the current weather. As always I am blown away by the choice and value for money at Studio, each of the outfits featured below came in under £45!
This first outfit is probably my favourite, I don’t think you can beat a pinafore style dress in autumn. This gorgeous cord pinafore dress is also available in pink and tan and is a bargain at just £13! It’s a really versatile piece that can be worn with a t-shirt underneath when it’s warmer or a jumper if it’s a little cooler. You could also wear it with bare legs like I have here, or with tights.
The pink high neck top that I am wearing came in a two pack and is perfect for layering at this time of year. It’s also such a pretty colour!
I wore this simple black bag with this outfit. As much as I would love to use my trusty straw bags all year round, I think it’s time to put them away until spring. This is a great little bag for autumn and winter and will go with just about any outfit. Also available in tan.
Black cross body bag – £10
It was quite a warm, sunny day when I put this outfit together so I didn’t need a jacket. On cooler days I would have worn this borg lined denim jacket. This one is super cosy and lined all the way through so it keeps you really warm and snug.
Borg lined denim jacket – £25
You might remember the wrap dresses that I shared back in June. They are one of my favourite Studio products to date. I love the gorgeous patterns and colours they are available in as well as the flattering shape. This is one of their latest designs which is a great transitional piece that can be worn in lots of different ways.
I’ve layered it here with a black cord jacket, which is also from Studio. This is such a versatile piece that I know will get lots of wear over autumn.
I’ve pair these Alexander McQueen dupe trainers with all of these outfits. They are a steal at just £12 and are super comfy. In the next few weeks I will be swapping bare legs and trainers for tights and boots so I am getting as much wear out of these trainers as I possibly can. The trainers also come in black which I am very tempted to get to wear with black tights.
Chunky trainers – £12
My final outfit is this beautiful checked dress that just screams autumn. And guess what? It has pockets! You really can’t beat a dress with pockets. I’m wearing it here with a black high neck top, which came in a two pack with the pink one I mentioned earlier.
This can easily be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I wore it here with bare legs and trainers for a casual day time look. It could also be worn with tight and boots, or heels for an evening look.
Studio has just launched their brand new app, so shopping with them is now easier than ever! It even has a ‘shop the look’ feature which I’m really enjoying, it’s great for outfit inspiration if you’re feeling a little uninspired. The app is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play. Find out more here.
