WHAT I BOUGHT IN PRIMARK THIS MONTH | FEBRUARY

Primark February

I very nearly didn’t do a Primark shop this month, purely because there just wasn’t anything I really needed. But as we’ve had some glorious weather over the past week it’s got me thinking about spring fashion. So I thought I would have a look around my local Primark to see what spring/summer items they had in. I was really pleasantly suprised and I’m so pleased with the items I picked up, which are perfect for layering and transitioning into the warmer months. Let me know what you think…

The first thing I picked up was this gorgeous floral print maxi skirt. I really like the buttons and side split detail. I tried this on in white with black spots recently but wasn’t sure that white was a good idea with two small children around! This colour is much more suitable and a one that I don’t have much of in my wardrobe currently.

I bought this ribbed knit top to go with the skirt and I think they look fab together. They had these tops in a few different colours and I think they are a great staple to go with skirts, jeans etc at this time of year.

Skirt – £13, Ribbed knit top – £6

I also spotted this gorgeous bag and was quite surprised to see it in Primark as I think it looks like something you’d find in Zara. I think this is probably my favourite Primark find from this month, I absolutely love it.

Bag – £10

Next up I got these khaki paper bag waist trousers. I’ve been living in skinny jeans over winter so I am desperate to be able to wear different things again. I don’t own any khaki trousers so I thought I’d go for these. I got this simple v neck stripe tee to go with them, which was just £4! It’s a great wardrobe staple and will definitely get lots of wear.

Khaki trousers – £13, Striped tee – £4

I saw these amazing checked trousers on one of the mannequins in the window and just had to have them. I think they are perfect for spring and summer and can easily be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

I got this white utility style shirt to go with them, as I’ve been after a simple white shirt for a while. It’s slightly cropped in length which I like as I have a lot of high waisted skirts and trousers that this will look perfect with.

Utility shirt – £12, Checked trousers – £13

Finally I picked up these straw weaved mules which again look like something you’d find in Zara or Topshop. They were only £8 and I think they are going to be fantastic for the warmer months.

Straw weave mules – £8
