Away Resorts Esme

*PR stay*

A couple of weeks ago we were very kindly invited by Away Resorts to check out their new Esme accommodation at Tattershall Lakes. Having been to Tattershall Lakes before and thoroughly enjoying it, we jumped at the chance to go back. The Esme accommodation looked incredible on the Away Resorts website and was even more beautiful in real life, an Instagrammers dream!

Away Resorts

Away Resorts was founded back in 2008 and currently has nine holiday parks across the UK. Many of their parks offer a range of activities and entertainment, great for families. Whilst other sites are much quieter if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life.

“Each Away Resorts park makes the most of its unique and beautiful surroundings and has its own individual appeal. Many parks are jam-packed with fantastic facilities and great entertainment, and many just simply provide a smaller offering with a base to explore the local area. Each one, full of love, with a family feeling, always providing service with a smile.”

What’s also great is that most of Away Resorts parks are dog friendly, so our four legged friends can enjoy a family holiday too! Dogs are welcome in all pet friendly versions of their accommodation, including luxury grades such as the Esme.

The Esme

The Esme is brand new for 2021 and is currently available at both the Tattershall Lakes and Sandy Balls holiday parks. The decor is absolutely stunning, think pink, dalmatian print, gold details, flamingos and neon signs! You would never believe you were in a caravan, that’s for sure! Make sure you head over to my Instagram account to watch a video tour of the Esme accommodation.

“With a look and feel that has been designed by ladies with inspiration taken from all our gorgeous mummies out there, we’ve created something to really wow and something you’ll definitely want to share on your social feed. And being so gorgeous, we also wanted it too to have a name that suits its prettiness too. So with it’s meaning ‘to love’, this holiday home is compact, sophisticated, distinctive, and truly adorable!”

The Esme includes scandi style furniture throughout, all of your kitchen essentials, an en suite to the master bedroom, bluetooth speaker, 55″ flatscreen TV, heating throughout, double glazing, TV’s in both bedrooms, an outside decking area with furniture, and a kingsize bed with all beds made up on arrival.

Tattershall Lakes

Tattershall Lakes Country Park is situated in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside and is set around a series of beautiful lakes. It’s waterfront location means there’s lots of water based activities on offer such as water skiing, pedalos, water boarding and more.

The park underwent a £5.5 million transformation a couple of years ago, which we got to review back in 2019 (you can read more about that here). This time we got to experience the brand new outdoor Lakeside Lido, which we all absolutely loved. And it’s heated too, so no need to worry about the water being too cold given our unpredictable British weather!

As well as the Lakeside Lido, there’s also an indoor pool and a children’s Splashzone. All of which can be booked before your trip via the Away Resorts app. We managed to book a few swimming slots through the app, as well as a restaurant reservation at the Propeller Bar. Luckily one of the other restaurants on site didn’t require pre booking so we also managed to eat there on a couple of occasions. Aside from that there’s also a few local takeaways that deliver to the park, so there’s always plenty of choice.

Our thoughts

We had an amazing holiday at Tattershall Lakes and can’t recommend the Esme accommodation enough. If you’re looking for something really unique and a little bit of luxury, then the Esme is for you. It’s great for families, a girls weekend or even a romantic getaway. We really didn’t want to leave!

There’s so much to do at Tattershall Lakes, it is perfect for families. The kids loved the swimming pools, arcades, pedalos and the adventure playground. In fact there’s so much on offer that we struggled to fit in everything that we wanted to do during our stay.

We also found that the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Checking in was super quick and well organised, we didn’t even have to leave our car. At one point we had an issue with one of our TV’s and after a quick trip to guest services, the TV was replaced within the hour.

Thank you so much for having us Away Resorts, we will definitely be back!

Have you ever visited Tattershall Lakes? What do you think to the new Esme accommodation?

Thank you for reading.
