Bobux SS18

We have been fans of Bobux children’s shoes for a couple of years now. I’ve always loved that they are comfortable , with a major focus on children’s foot health, but that they don’t compromise on style.

They recently got in touch to see if they could send us some shoes from their new SS18 range and of course we jumped at the chance.

A little bit of background about the brand…

Bobux are a New Zealand brand which was started back in 1991 by Chris and Colleen Bennett. Bobux create shoes that are not only stylish but good for our children’s feet too. Bobux are a company constantly striving to learn more about healthy foot development and using this knowledge to design kids shoes that are genuine objects of desire for mums.

You can watch my video here to see which shoes we picked out or scroll down for photos and more info…

First up for Evie I went for the Roman sandals in the colour chestnut (also available in white and pink). For the past couple of summers Evie has had tan Saltwater sandals and they have been worn so so much as they just go so perfectly with everything. I think that the Roman sandals are similar in style with the cross over strap detail, so I know that these will get lots of wear over summer. The velcro strap means that unlike the Saltwaters, Evie can easily put these on and off by herself which is great as she is all about being independent at the moment.

Bobux Roman sandals – £44

Next for Evie I went for the Mirror sandals in this beautiful teal colour. These are also available in ash, denim and chestnut. Aside from the stunning colour which is absolutely perfect for spring and summer, I really liked the style. They are really different and unlike any sandals she has had before.

Mirror sandals – £44

We also went for the Aktiv trainers, which Evie picked out for herself. We liked the white, pink and grey colours together with the gold splash details. These are available in lots of other designs, colours and sizes so definitely worth taking a look at. Evie absolutely loves these and wants to wear them everyday, she says they make her run super fast, bless her!

Aktiv trainers – £42

Moving on to Max and I knew that I wanted to get him some sandals as we have a holiday coming up very soon. He has had normal open toe sandals in the past but really didn’t like wearing them, which is probably down to his sensory issues. I liked that these ones are closed toe, but are still open enough to allow breathability and keep his feet cool on hot days.

I opted for navy but these are also available in ash and brown.

Roam sandals – £49

Finally I went for the Port shoes in the colour caramel (also available in navy, forest and black). I really love the colour of these. I like that rather than the usual darker brown they are much lighter which makes them great for spring and summer. I also like that these shoes are really versatile, they work well for casual wear but could easily be worn with a smart outfit too.

Port shoes – £49

We are really pleased with the children’s new Bobux shoes and they can’t wait to start wearing them all. We just need the sun to start shining now! Evie has already worn her Aktiv trainers and Max has worn the Port shoes and both looked great and I’m assured they were really comfortable. Thank you Bobux!

Thank you for reading.

*We were kindly gifted the shoes mention din this post. However all opinions as always are my own*
