As you’re reading this we’ll already be enjoying the sun in Corfu, woohoo! It’s the kids first holiday abroad and their first flight so I wanted to make sure we took plenty of things to entertain them on the flight, which is around 4 hours long.
Here’s what I’ve packed for Evie…
Disney Princess sticker book – Evie goes crazy for stickers so I knew this sticker book would be a great way to keep her occupied.
Disney Princess magazine – My mum bought the kids a magazine each a couple of weeks ago and I managed to hide them without them noticing, I knew they’d be best kept until the flight. Evie had already taken the free toys off of hers though!
Peppa Pig colouring set – An eBay bargain at £1.99 and a perfect way to keep my little Peppa Pig fan busy for a while.
Peppa Pig My Daddy book – We were sent this book by Penwizard Books, you can see my review here. Evie loves it and we definitely cannot go on holiday without it! I have a discount code for £2 off all books, if anyone is interested the code is ‘PLUSTHREE’.
Sweeties – If all else fails, give them sweets!
And in Max’s bag…
Learn to tie your shoe laces activity – I’m not sure at what age kids usually learn to tie their own shoe laces but Max has started to show an interest in it so I though now would be a good time to try. I think especially on the airplane it’ll be a good activity for him to concentrate on for a while.
Jungle Book sticker book – Both kids love stickers so a sticker book was a must for both of them.
Friends magazine – As already mentioned, they’ve had these magazines for a little while now but I managed to put them to one side and save them for the flight.
Travel activity pack – This was only £2.99 from eBay, another bargain! It includes a jigsaw, dot to dot, crayons, pictures to colour in and more.
Captain Pug book – I was kindly sent this to review by Bloomsbury publishing so the flight is the perfect opportunity for us to start reading it.
Sweeties – Filling them with sugar in a confined space might not be the smartest idea, but if it keeps them quiet for a while I’m fine with it!
Thanks for reading.
