This year, to mark their 20th anniversary, organic skincare brand Green People have released a whole range of special edition products. And they have just released the final product in the range – Damask Rose Facial Oil.
I have been lucky enough to try a few Green People products in the past and I’ve always been impressed with them. They are kind to both mine and my children’s skin despite us all having quite sensitive skin. So if you are on the look out for a new organic skincare brand to try out, Green People is definitely worth a look.
I hold my hands up and admit that I am no skincare expert, my routine consists of makeup remover wipes (I know, I know!), face wash and moisturiser and that’s pretty much it. I have never tried a facial oil before but with the cold winter weather leaving my skin dry I was excited to give this a try.
First of all, the Damask Rose scent is really lovely and actually reminds me a little of Turkish Delight! The facial oil is 99% organic and suitable for all skin type. I was a little unsure whether it would work for me at first as I have quite oily skin but I have to remember that even oily skin needs nourishing, especially in winter.
The oil is an blend of Sweet Almond, Thistle Seed, Avocado and Rosehip oils which lock-in hydration and regenerate the skin to reduce fine lines, improve texture and firmness.
Green People Damask Rose Facial Oil (30ml) – £29
I have really been enjoying using this oil and have definitely noticed less dry patches on my skin. It’s not greasy and is absorbed into the skin really quickly. As I mentioned earlier, I have quite oily skin so I have only been using the oil once a day before bed and it’s working perfectly for me.
