We were recently sent two very fun books to review, they are the latest installments in The Dinosaur That Pooped… series.
Written by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter from McFly, these books have a brilliant sense of humour. As the titles suggest, there is quite a bit of poop involved, which for some reason kids seem to love!
You wouldn’t realise it from the titles but these books are actually really great ways of helping young children to learn. The first one is The Dinosaur That Pooped a Rainbow and focuses on teaching children the colours of the rainbow.
Danny and Dinosaur spot a rainbow in the sky. Join them as they learn about the colours they can see.
The Dinosaur That Pooped Daddy encourages children to count along with the story. Both books were great for Evie who is 3 and just learning her numbers and colours.
The Dinosaur That Pooped Daddy is the perfect gift for Father’s Day and you can even make your own Father’s Day card to go along with it here. There is also a free activity sheet for your little ones here.
Danny and Dinososaur can’t find Daddy anywhere – do you know where he’s hiding? Count down from TEN to ONE and help them find his hiding place.
One of the things I loved about these books is the illustrations. They are both colourful and funny so are great for keeping little ones interested.
Both my kids loved the books and of course found the poop part hilariously funny! Evie’s favourite one was The Dinosaur That Pooped A Rainbow simply because she (and me!) is slightly rainbow obsessed.
I would definitely recommend these books to anyone with young children and they are a bargain priced at just £3.99 each.
Thanks for reading.
These books were kindly sent to us, but all opinions are our own.

It’s funny how kids also find poop in books funny isn’t it?! I love that there is an activity sheet to go with the book.

I love these books, my two are a bit old for them now but I always look out for one when I am buying gifts for other people’s children.
