York’s Christmas Market runs from mid-November right through to the 23rd December, so you have plenty of opportunity to fuel up on bratwurst and sip hot chocolate. It’s a great opportunity to pick up Christmas presents from artisan stalls too. Nearby, you can also visit key landmarks, such as York Minster and the famous cobbled street The Shambles.
