With my 29th birthday just a couple of weeks away I’ve been thinking about what gifts I would love to receive.
Birthdays change a lot as you get older, don’t they? They are no where near as important as they once were, but it’s still nice to be a little bit spoilt.
I am lucky that James and my mum will buy me a few gifts and I’ll probably get some money too. I definitely won’t receive all of the things on my list, maybe just two or three, but its nice to dream…
1. Zara backpack – £19.99
I’ve been after a backpack for ages and I love the look of this one. It’s such a bargain too at just £19.99, I think it looks far more expensive than that. I want something that’s easy to throw on and gives me both hands free to deal with the kids, rather than having to carry a bag in one hand.
2. Birkenstocks – £59.95
You either love them or hate them, don’t you? Well I used to hate them but I’ve now decided that I love them, I just think they look really cool!
3. Parent Apparel ‘school runnings’ tee – £26
I love Parent Apparel tees and have been wanting to get one for the longest time. But despite plenty of hint dropping nobody has bought me on yet, boo hoo!
4. ASOS rainbow pyjamas – £20
They have clouds and a rainbow on them, and they’re pyjamas, nuff said.
5. Cult of Youth Mama necklace – £35
I first came across Cult of Youth on instagram about a year ago and have wanted one of their amazing necklaces ever since. They do them in gold, silver and even rose gold!
6. Topshop dress – £42
I’m loving the off the shoulder trend at the moment and I also love the colour of this dress. Admittedly, I have too many dresses already but this one is gorgeous, one more won’t hurt, right?
7. Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner – £449.99
Sad I know but I really want one of these. We’ve had our current Dyson for about five years now and I love it but it’s on its last legs and needs replacing soon. This one is right at the top of my list when we do get round to buying a new one. I highly doubt anyone is going to buy me one for my birthday because they cost an arm and a leg, but I’m just putting it out there in case a certain husband is reading…!
8. Mother tee – £30
Another thing I’ve been eyeing up for a long time, I’ll fit right in on instagram when I finally do get one of these, haha!
9. Tom Ford White Patchouli – £76 (50ml)
I love Tom Ford perfumes, my husband bought me the Velvet Orchid one for Christmas and it’s lovely. They are expensive but a little goes a long way, I definitely think that they are worth the money. White Patchouli is next on my list, it’s such a beautiful striking fragrance.

I pretty much want all of this list, we have similar tastes. We recently brought the dyson cordless cleaner and it is brilliant. We got the one that is good for wooden floors and it has changed my life after the girls have finished eating I can easily hoover round. x #picknmix
