We’ve had our Blinds2go ClickFIT blinds for a few weeks now and we couldn’t be happier with them. I’ve had a few questions about them on Instagram so I thought I would write a blog post to try and cover some of the answers. Please let me know if there’s anything else you would like to know that I might have missed.
Blinds2go
If you don’t already know, Blinds2go is an online made to measure blinds retailer. They sell lots of different styles of blinds including Venetian, roller, shutters, blackout, electric, roman and more. We already have Venetian blinds from them in five rooms in our home and we love them. They fit perfectly, were easy to install and best of all they come at a very reasonable price. If you are not UK based you could consider selectblindscanada for all you window blinds needs.
ClickFIT
ClickFIT blinds, as the name suggests, simply click in to place without any drilling. Our blinds arrived with clips that slip underneath the window seal. You then click the blinds on to the clips. You do also have to place the cord along the edges of the window and underneath the bottom bar. This allows your blinds to stay in the position you want them in. It’s not easy to explain but the Blinds2go easy fitting guide really helps. You can find it on their website. It didn’t take us long to install the blinds at all and we aren’t the best at DIY. So if we can do it, I’m sure anyone can!
Blinds for bifold doors
We opted for the ClickFIT DuoShade blinds in the colour charcoal. DuoShade is a blackout material, which is what we wanted for our south facing kitchen, as it gets incredibly hot in there in the afternoon in summer. The thermal honeycomb design, along with the white outward facing fabric, means that the heat stays out. They also work to keep heat inside during winter.
Our bifold doors and kitchen window are anthracite grey so after ordering lots of free sample fabrics, we opted for the charcoal. I am over the moon with the colour match, it’s almost identical, as you can see in the photos below.
Our thoughts
Our ClickFIT blinds have given us the privacy and protection from the sun that we so desperately needed. They were easy to install and look amazing in our home. They are super easy to use too, you can easily pull the blind down as far as you want it – it doesn’t have to be the whole way up or down. Overall, we’re very happy customers and would recommend Blinds2go ClickFIT blinds to anyone.
