Reasons book Eurocamp family holiday

Last year we went on our very first Eurocamp holiday to Marina Di Venezia in Italy and we absolutely loved it. This year we are going to the La Baume Campsite in the South of France and we cannot wait. When I mentioned our Eurocamp holiday last year I got a lot of questions from people who were considering booking, so I thought I would put together a post with a little bit more about why we love Eurocamp holidays so much. Here’s 10 reasons to book a Eurocamp family holiday…

1. Lots of locations to choose from

Eurocamp have over 190 parcs in 10 countries across Europe, so there is so much choice! So far we have done Italy and are going to the South of France next month. Also on my list is Croatia, Holland and Switzerland. Where would you go?

2. Value for money

At Eurocamp you pay one price for your accommodation, rather than per person like you would on a package holiday. This means you’re getting great value for money, particularly for large families or groups.

3. Flexibility

Your holiday is completely flexible in that you could book for one night or as many as you want. You aren’t restricted to booking 7, 10 or 14 nights like with package holidays. This means you also have the option to stay at more than one parc during your holiday, which is a great way of exploring more than one region. You can also arrive on any day of the week, and at any time. This allows you to match your holiday dates with the cheapest travel options.

4. Freedom to explore

What I loved the most about our holiday to Italy last year was that we had complete freedom to explore the area. Our site was a 30 minute ferry ride away from Venice, so we got to spend a couple of days exploring Venice which was amazing. The kids got time in the pool and on the beach and we got to see Venice, so the whole family was happy.

5. Reliable

Eurocamp have over 40 years experience, have won numerous travel awards and are ABTA and ATOL protected. What’s more, you’ll find loads of reviews online so you can get a good idea of what a particular site is like before you decide to go ahead and book.

6. More space

Eurocamp mobile homes offer more space than you would get in a typical hotel room. The decking area is a great addition and we found it perfect for sitting out on while we waited for the kids to fall asleep each night.

7. Everything you need on your doorstep

Eurocamp parcs have everything you need on site – a supermarket, restaurants, shops, pools, children’s playground etc. So if you don’t fancy going out to explore the area, you really don’t need to leave the parc at all.

8. Kids clubs

Eurocamp offer free kids clubs exclusively for Eurocamp customers. We don’t often put our children in kids clubs but they did go in for one afternoon at Marina Di Venezia and both thoroughly enjoyed it.

“We offer a range of kids’ clubs – and everyone’s welcome, from the tiniest toddlers to those tricky-to-please teens. We’ve worked hard to ensure our kids’ clubs tick all the boxes, so that everyone has a fantastic and fun family holiday. This includes fully trained staff and chances to meet new friends.”

9. The pools

The pool complex at Marina Di Venezia was incredible, the kids absolutely loved it. It was far bigger than any hotel swimming pool complex we’ve ever seen. There was six pools in total, including a wave pool, olympic size swimming pool, kids pool, jacuzzi pool and various waterslides.

10. Dining options

As all Eurocamp mobile homes have kitchens, you can choose to eat in if you want to keep costs down, or eat out at one of the restaurants on site. You’ll also find a BBQ at your accommodation, so you can have a family BBQ out on the decking area. I really like that you aren’t tied to going out to eat every single night like you are on a package holiday.
