CHILDREN’S GIFT IDEAS WITH WICKED UNCLE

children's gift ideas

*AD – This is a sponsored post with Wicked Uncle*

Both of my children’s birthdays are coming up in the next few weeks. While Evie is fairly easy when it comes to gift ideas and is pretty much sorted already, Max is not! He’s a tricky one to buy for and he never seems to know what he wants. So I’m really pleased to have discovered the Wicked Uncle website which is a huge help when buying gifts for children. Let me explain a little more about them…

Wicked Uncle’s simple aim is to make gifting for kids easier. The website makes it super simple to browse by age so you know you’re buying something that will be suitable. You can also browse by gender, or if you’re buying for a child like Max who isn’t really into stereotyping ‘boys’ toys, you can choose to browse all instead. There’s loads of categories to look through such as creative, educational, role play, science toys and more! So there’s plenty of choice at Wicked Uncle, you’re sure to find something they will love. And in the unlikely event that they don’t like your gift or already have one, you can return it and the Wicked Uncle team will credit you so you can purchase something else instead.

“We have scoured the world to find a really useful selection of fun, unusual and different presents for children. We test every potential present before it goes on our website – we build the robot kits, paint the fairies, doodle with the pens, play the games and yes, we even wear the t-shirt! We can gift wrap your presents, send them direct with a handwritten birthday or Xmas card and even send you a birthday reminder every year.”

Having spent some time on the Wicked Uncle website I’ve come up with nine perfect gifts for an 11 year old…

children's gift ideas

1. Glitter tattoos set – £12.95

This would be great for either a girl or a boy. Max loves anything glittery so this would be right up his street.

2. Rainbow cake baking kit – £14.95

Anyone who knows Max will know that he is a serious foodie and most of his Christmas gifts were food based! So I know he would adore this baking kit.

3. Slime DIY case – £19.95

What child doesn’t love slime, right?! This set comes with everything you need to make your very own shimmery slime!

4. Colour changing glitter light – £14.95

This colour changing glitter light looks amazing. Max can sometimes struggle to fall asleep at night and I think this would really help to relax him.

5. Britannica all new children’s encyclopedia – £25

I used to love encyclopedias when I was a child. This one has 400 pages full of fun facts for curious little minds.

6. Genetics and DNA – 20 exciting experiments – £29.95

I don’t know about Max but I kinda want this kit for myself, haha! Seriously though this looks like a great way to occupy them over school holidays, and it’s educational too.

7. Fifty pranks to freak your friends – £15

I could end up regretting buying this, couldn’t I?! But I know he’d have hours of fun with it.

8. Horrible Histories board game – £16.95

Both of my children love Horrible Histories books and are always telling me facts that they’ve learned from them. So this board game looks like a great option.

9. The upside down challenge – £23.95

In this game you have to wear goggles that make everything appear upside down. You then have to attempt different challenges whilst wearing the goggles, sounds fun right?

What do you think to these gift ideas? Do you have any children in your life who are really difficult to buy for like Max is?
