Summer’s nearly over! How did that happen?! Part of me is glad that the kids will be going back to school soon so I can get back to the gym, concentrate on my blog and enjoy a bit of quiet time. But part of me is really sad because it means there won’t be many days out or much family time.
This last month has been so lovely, of course there have been plenty of stressful times but then there always are, that’s just life with kids! But we’ve had some great days out, lazy mornings, precious family time, late evenings, things have just been so relaxed and I’ve loved it.
But summer isn’t quite over yet, this weekend we’re off to Sherwood Hideaway lodges and I cannot wait! We went there last October and it was amazing, it’s certainly the perfect way to see the summer holidays out in style.
There’s still plenty to look forward to during the autumn though, including *hopefully* a holiday in October, which we’ll be booking last minute to try and get a good late deal.
This months photos were taken at some nearby woods, we had gone there to take some outfit photos for a blog post and decided we might as well do our Me and Mine photos while we were there and I’m so glad we did.
I absolutely adore how these photos have turned out, I mean I know they aren’t perfect but then they are never going to be when you’ve got two kids involved, are they? But I like that, I like the silly faces and I like that they show real life. I also love the lighting, the late afternoon sun light coming through the trees. I’m definitely going to have to get a couple of these framed.
Thanks for reading.
