It’s time for December’s me and mine project, which means it’s the very last one of 2017! And hasn’t this year just flown by?
As always, I left this photo until the very last minute but didn’t want to fail on the last month of the year. So we snapped this one really quickly the other evening, hence the really terrible lighting! But I’m so glad that I took this photo regardless of the quality, because it means we’ve managed to keep up for the whole year.
I think the me and mine project is one of the best things that blogging has brought me. Before I started joining in with it I think we had maybe one or two photos of the four of us together, which is so bad! But it’s just not something you really think to do is it? There was plenty of photos of the kids, or the kids with just me or James but very few of all four of us. The me and mine project has given me that nudge to make the effort to capture these photos each month and I absolutely love that we now have these memories to look back on.
2017 has been a real busy one for us, full of adventure. There’s been some low points like the loss of our dog, Louis. But some pretty special times too like taking the kids to Disneyland Paris, getting our puppy Poppy and Evie starting school.
Here’s a look back at our 2017 family snaps…
And finally December…
I think my favourite is either May’s bluebell photo or August’s lavender capture. Total blogger cliches but such pretty backdrops. Which one is your favourite?
Happy New Year to you all and all the best for 2018.
Thank you for reading.
