Last week we were invited to review Ecco Pizzeria in Leeds, I’m definitely not one to turn down pizza so we were more than happy to do this.
The restaurant
Ecco Pizzeria serve authentic Neapolitan wood fired pizza,
Our mission is to provide the most authentic Neapolitan Pizza. We utilise centuries old wood fired cooking techniques and use only the freshest, finest ingredients imported from Italy.
We want to provide the same quality of pizza as you would expect when eating in a restaurant in the back streets of Naples.
Ecco has two restaurants in Leeds; Roundhay and Headingly but it was the Roundhay branch that we went to check out. Both restaurants do dine in a delivery.
The restaurant is very modern, with a pizza oven at the back.
The food
There is a great range of food to choose from, including starters, chicken, pizza, salads and even gluten free options. They also serve traditional italian gelato in a variety of different flavours.
We opted for the dough balls for starters and oh my goodness, they were amazing! Definitely the best dough balls I’ve ever had.
For main we had a gigantic pizza, it literally was huge! I chose on my side and James had on his. Both toppings were really tasty.
Really reasonably priced at
We were absolutely stuffed after all that pizza so sadly didn’t get to try the gelato, but it looked amazing and I’ll definitely go back to try that out.
The service
The service in the restaurant was brilliant, despite it being a busy Friday night, the staff were very friendly and our food arrived quickly.
In conclusion, I would definately recommend Ecco Pizzeria, we really enjoyed our meal and the prices are really reasonable, we would definately go back.
Thanks for reading.
