It’s January and many of us are thinking about decluttering our homes, if you’re one of those people then this book is definitely for you. Spark Joy is an amazing guide to decluttering and organising your home, it takes you through each room of your home and is even broken down into categories such as clothes, paperwork, books, shoes, bags etc.
The book is beautifully illustrated, showing you how to properly organise drawers, wardrobes and cupboards. The illustrations also show Marie Kondo’s unique folding method, showing how to fold any item of clothing, which is definitely an area I could use some improvement in!
This is the second book from Marie Kondo, her first book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying, was all about her unique tidying philosophy and introduced readers to the basics of her KonMari method. It has already transformed the homes and lives of millions of people around the world.
The secret to Marie Kondo’s unique and simple KonMari tidying method is to focus on what you want to keep, not what you want to get rid of. Ask yourself if something ‘sparks joy’ and suddenly it becomes so much easier to understand if you really need it in your home and your life. When you surround yourself with things you love you will find that your whole life begins to change.
I have a copy of the book to give away to one of my lovely readers. Please enter via rafflecopter below. UK entrants only. The competition will close at midnight on Sunday 5th February. The winner will then we contacted via email, please claim your prize within 30 days or a new winner will be drawn.

In preparation for retiring in a couple of years time, I am encouraging my children to reclaim all the things I have been storing in my attic for years. As well as their storage stuff I now have grandchildren’s buggies, toys etc. I need to downsize! I am not a storage lot!
I would love some tips on decluttering my house
Would love any help I can get with decluttering and keeping on top of untidiness
Wow would love to read this and hopefully help me sort this house out ?
Arrrrgh I could totally do with this. I’m too scared to buy it because I fear getting around to letting go. I bought my first house a year ago and I’ve been clinging onto old, sentimental stuff that has no place and the clutter is stressful. I need to learn to let things go.

This is one book I really need
My home really could do with a total overhaul of decluttering. I do a have a ‘mantre’ for cleaning/decluttering (if it hasn’t been used or worn in the last 6 months out it goes) but it seems that I have forgone it for a good while.
I borrowed this book from the library, together with Marie Kondo’s first book – The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying. They are both great and I would love to own them.
Would love this book to help organise my house!
Thanks for the giveaway. I so need this book. Lol 🙂
I need to declutter. I am a bit of a hoarder and can then never find anything so it stresses me out. I lost my mum a few years ago and find it hard to get rid of things but feel that I really need to as my stuff takes over space that the kids stuff could be kept.
A cluttered home is a cluttered mind…i need to de clutter…this book wld be very useful indeed ?
Would love to read this as I am forever starting but not finishing decluttering my house x
would love to win this book

I need help decluttering!
My friend subscribes to this ethos and I’ve been dying to read it since she mentioned it – I like that it’s not just about achieving a clutter free room, and that you’re allowed to keep some seemingly pointless objects because you love them! Well that seemed to be the gist anyway, would love to read about it in depth x
Very useful book!
Really useful book!
I’d love to read this book as I’m a naturally untidy person, but have been intrigued my the Kondo method. I think that it would really help me to sort my living space out.
This would be great to declutter and have a gorgeous home I love. Thanks for the chance xxx
My decluttering efforts usually cause more clutter than they solve, so this might help!
I am a bit of a hoarder so this would be helpful as I try to weed out things we no longer need
Sounds great x
Ooh this looks like such a cool book, I would love to check this out!
I suffer from hoarding but have really tried to over-come it this year by tackling each area of my home at a time, it’s a great improvement so far but it takes so long, so winning this book would really help me to get my home more organised and keep it clutter free. Thanks for the chance to win it! x
