What I Wore | Silver Midi Skirt

IMG_0475

I spotted this skirt in Primark a few weeks ago and immediately loved it but I wasn’t sure I was brave enough to wear something quite so bold, so I left it…

Fast forward a week or so and I’m back in Primark but this time I just couldn’t leave without this skirt! It’s not something I would usually wear, it’s definitely a statement piece but actually I feel really comfortable in it.

I love midi length skirts and dresses, I love how they make me feel feminine whilst not showing too much skin. I love how they sit on the waist, which is really flattering. Oh and you can do a really good twirl in a midi skirt 😉

I can’t remember exactly how much the skirt was but I think it was around the £10 mark, it was from Primark after all so definitely isn’t going to break the bank!

My top is also from Primark and my sandals were from Boohoo.com last year, similar here and here.

Well done for biting the bullet and going back for it. It looks a great balance of smart casual. I love midi skirts – you can hide a lot of snot and food smears in the pleats! #fortheloveofBLOG

I think that skirt is totally gorgeous and looks amazing on you. I love that style but unfortunately my large hips and short legs do not agree with me ! #fortheloveofblog

I have big hips but I am quite tall so I think I can just about pull it off (I hope!) x
