Dreamland in Margate is somewhere that I’ve wanted to go for such a long time after seeing photos on instagram, I mean it’s so instagrammable it’s just amazing. But living up north means it’s not really possible for a day trip as it’s over four hours away! But last week while we were on holiday in Sussex I grabbed the opportunity to drive over to Kent and finally visit Dreamland.
I certainly wasn’t disappointed by Dreamland but what I was disappointed by was the weather! July has been a real let down hasn’t it? I so wish I was sharing these photos of our day with lots of sunshine and blue skies in the background but sadly it wasn’t mean to be! But what I do have is plenty of dreary grey photos, grey is fine, right? At one point we even had to take shelter in the Mirror Maze as it was absolutely pouring it down, honestly it could only happen to us!
But bad weather aside… we had a fantastic day at Dreamland and the kids absolutely loved it. I just wish we lived closer so that we could visit again soon! Evie’s favourite ride was the Big Wheel, Max loved the Helter Skelter and the Born Slippy slides (the kids is obsessed with slides) and my favourite was definitely the Mirror Maze!
You can get into Dreamland for free and simply pay per ride, ride prices can be found here, or you can buy wristbands. Big kid wristbands (over 1.25m) are priced at £16 and £11.50 for little kid wristbands (under 1.25m). For more information about Dreamland and to book tickets click here.
Here are some snaps from our day, I promise I did try to narrow them down but it wasn’t easy…
Have you ever been to Dreamland?
Thanks for reading.
*We were kindly given complimentary tickets to Dreamland, however all opinions are my own*
