This months siblings project photos were taken whilst out strawberry picking on Saturday, I’d left it until the last minute to take my photos as usual!
The kids broke up from school for the Summer holidays on Friday and James has just finished work for the next 10 days, yay! So on Saturday we decided to start the summer fun and went strawberry picking.
The kids have never been strawberry picking before and actually neither have I, they both love strawberries and raspberries so off we went to a local farm to pick some.
The typical British summer weather meant that of course it was raining when we got there, but it soon cleared up and we had a great afternoon there.
Evie finished filling her punnet up before Max so when she’d finished she started helping him to fill his and pointing out the strawberries to him, which was really sweet to watch.
We’ve got a few family days out planned over the next week or so, so it’ll be nice to spend some quality time together and for the kids to play together as they definitely miss each other when they’re at school.
I know that in reality they’ll be ready to kill each other in a few days, so I’ll try and enjoy them being friends while it lasts!
Thanks for reading.
I definitely need to take my children strawberry (berry) picking this summer. I grew up doing lots of berry picking. Summer holidays are hard on everyone. We have one more week and then it will weeks of craziness. I am in denial. I wish you luck the next couple months. Thank you for sharing your photos this month.

Thank you. It seems like most have got another week left, not sure why mine have finished already! x

Oh lovely photos. I have never picked strawberries. There must be somewhere on Jersey, I need to get looking! #marvmondays

I’d never done it before but it was lots of fun, great for the kids to see where their food comes from x

Ah thanks so much! x
Great activity for them to do. I love them seeing where food comes from. Plus I find they get on so much better when engaged in stuff like this! Our friends just did mandarin picking over our way so I want to try that too!

Mandarin picking sounds great, Evie would love that! x
Funny how siblings are friends one minute, enemies the next. I’ve yet to see what happens with my two girls. #MarvMondays

Yep, very much a love hate relationship x
At 28, I’ve only just been strawberry picking recently for the first time and it’s such a fab way to spend time with the kids! Archie loves it (though eats a crap load of strawberries on the way round) and it doesn’t cost alot to be out in the sun. Thanks for linking up to #MarvMondays. Kaye xo
