What a lovely month December has been, jam packed full and hectic at times but a great month never the less. It’s been a month of festivity with School nativities, Christmas parties, Christmas shopping etc and of course finished off with the perfect family Christmas.
January is looking like a bit of a dull month at moment with the kids back at school, the husband at work and pretty much zero plans. But I’m hoping we’ll manage to find some time to spend together just the four of us.
As you’re reading this me and my husband are heading to Edinburgh, to see the New Year in and the kid are staying with my mum and dad. As much as I love sending time together as a family, our kids can be really hard work and we definitely feel like we deserve a break. Not just that but the kids have no idea what New Year’s Eve even is and will be fast asleep by about 9pm, so it’s not like we would be seeing the New Year in with them anyway.
I have found the Christmas holidays quite stressful at times with Max around, he has been pretty difficult and if I’m being honest I’ll be glad when he goes back to school next week! I’m hating the cold weather and am already counting down the days to summer! Max is much easier to handle and happier in summer because we can get outdoors, he’s not a fan of being cooped up inside during winter.
This months photos were taken on Christmas Day round at my mums house and although they aren’t the best photos and the kids have food around their mouths, I still love them.
I hope you all had a great Christmas and wishing you all a Happy New Year and all the best for 2017!
Thanks for reading.
