The Siblings Project | October

Siblings october

I swear it was only two minutes ago that I was writing my September siblings post, this past month has just flown by! I guess that’s what happens when school routine takes over, the days start to go by in the blink of an eye.

There’s not all that much to report on this month, there’s of course been the usual squabbling and sibling rivalry, which is just a joy isn’t it? The latest argument is over who gets to hold the puppies lead!

My current highlight is simply knowing that they have each other at school. I am told that they play together at play times and look out for each other when one falls over or gets hurt. Especially as Evie has been finding starting school quite a challenge, it’s reassuring for me to know that at least she has her big brother there to make her feel a little more secure.

Last week me and James went to Spain for a few days, without the children! So the kids got to stay with my mum for three nights and of course they had a blast, I think the break did us all good actually. Other than that there hasn’t been that much going on over the last month. I am excited for the next few weeks though as we have half term, halloween and Bonfire Night so lots to look forward to for these two.

This months photos were taken yesterday on a trip to Clumber Park. I love seeing these two exploring together in the great outdoors. They were climbing trees, exploring dens and having fun in the playground, the perfect autumn day. Here are a few photos that I took…

You can check out Septembers siblings post here.

Thank you for reading.

Lovely set of photos! And how lovely that you had a little child-free break away, I think that sort of thing really does do everyone some good doesn’t it. x

What a beautiful place to explore and gorgeous snaps of your kiddos together. We are desperate to get outside and enjoy a good walk the rain has been floating down on us for way too long to do so. #siblingsproject
