Back in January I wrote a bucket list for the year ahead. We did the same thing back in 2017 and it was nice to look back at it at the end of the year to see how we’d done.
You can see last years post here.
So how did we do with our 2018 bucket list? The items in green are things that we completed, those in red we didn’t manage to do and the ones in black we made a start on but didn’t quite finish…
FAMILY HOLIDAY TO FUERTEVENTURA
VISIT ITALY
VISIT MORE UK CITIES
FINISH DECORATING MAX’S BEDROOM
LIVE A MORE MINIMAL LIFESTYLE
BE TIDIER AND MORE ORGANISED
SAVE MONEY
ALTON TOWERS
RELAX
VISIT CORNWALL
TIME JUST THE TWO OF US
HAVE THE BEST SUMMER
So this year we visited Fuerteventura, Italy and ticked off a couple more cities on our UK cities checklist. We also finished decorating Max’s bedroom which I still absolutely love!
We didn’t get round to visiting Alton Towers, Cornwall and we didn’t save any money (whoops!). But, this year we don’t have much planned at all as we really want this to be the year that we save enough money to buy a house. Watch this space!
There are quite a few things marked in black on our list, meaning we made a good start on them but they are still a work in progress. Decluttering, being more organised and minimal are things that we really made good progress with towards the end of the year. But we still need to tackle our bedroom, so I can’t quite tick it off the list yet. Being organised and living more minimal is definitely a lifestyle and not something that you can just do once. I truly believe that a tidy house means a tidy mind and it definitely has an effect on my mental health, so it’s something that is very important for me to continue with.
I will be writing our 2019 bucket list in the next few days, so keep an eye out for that if you’re interested.
How did you do with your bucket list for 2018?
Thank you for reading.
